I'm 50 years young. I live in my own home in a lovely village in the Saddleworth tourist area. Like to walk by the river / canal and feed the ducks. Like the outdoors.
Been into motorcycling since 13 years old but it's only occasional thesedays. Love skiing but not been for a while. Not a big football fan but like to watch (on tv) and follow Manchester United.
Have travelled the world by air, sea and motorcycle. Been to Scandanavia, Europe, Middle East, Far East, Australia, Arctic Circle, Falkand Islands, USA, Central America, Canada, South America, Africa etc. I love to travel and see new places and would like to go to New Zealand, South Africa and back to South America.
I'm told that I'm attractive, honest, loyal, conscientious, caring and kind hearted together with a sharp mind. I have a dry and wicked sense of humour and I love to laugh. You should treat others as you would want to be treated yourself and it's nice to be nice but I don't suffer fools.
Academically, I may not be "Professor" material but I ain't stupid. My life experiences and broad horizons are "up there."
Practically, I can cook, wash up, clean, wash and iron etc. Not looking for a Mother. I can't sew.
I served 5 years on Royal Navy Ships and and I'm a patriotic Englishman.I'm not an extrovert, more a little private and reserved but I do like to have fun.
Have great respect for our elderly people and think that they deserve a better deal. Would like to do something charitable to ease their plight.
Like to keep fit via the gym when possible. Enjoy a game of Badminton.
Don't watch too much TV. If I do then I like factual programmes, documentaries, comedy and wildliife films. I have a somewhat eclectic taste in music from 70's to present day.
I don't cheat nor do I do one night stands or sex on first dates. Like a respectable lady, I'm not here to be used.
