Well, one good reason would be because it is FREE, the other reason is in the name. After reviewing many dating websites and from one of the Directors' personal experiences, we have found that there are many dishonest people who use dating websites without any respect or appreciation towards other members.
There are countless scenarios that have been discovered on these dating websites such as married men/women after extra marital affairs but yet they claim to be single on their profiles. We discovered members posting photographs of themselves from 10 years ago and when a meeting took place for the first time, the opposite member was very disappointed as they looked considerably older than the photograph on their profile.
There are so many stories to be told and the ones we have mentioned are just the tip of the iceberg.
This is why Honest-Dating was created. It is our aim to operate an honest dating website and to encourage members to be honest. This is why we introduced the very popular Honesty Point system.
If a member is honest then they will receive a positive honesty point from other members. However, if they are dishonest then they could receive a negative point from another member.

All members will be able to see each others honesty points which will assist them when deciding to contact their potential match.
If our members are honest with their descriptions, photographs and conduct along with our vigilant monitoring systems then this will discourage any members whose only motive is to deceive others which will then allow the 'natural' meeting process to occur bringing together life long partners.
If we feel a profile is wholly dishonest we will immediately de-activate that profile, this is our way of protecting the honest users on our site.
